What your first appointment looks like, what to bring and how claims work.
What happens at the first visit?

Arrive five minutes early
Complete a short health form at reception, or online before you come.

History and examination
We talk through your problem and goals, then assess posture, movement, strength and nerves.
- 03
Findings and first treatment
We explain what we found and, if appropriate, start treatment on the day.
- 04
A written plan
An expected number of visits, home exercises and fees, explained before you leave.
What should I bring?
- Your health fund card, if you have extras cover
- Any recent X-ray, CT or MRI reports and images
- Your GP referral, if you are using a Medicare plan
- A list of any medicines you take
- Comfortable clothes you can move in

Worried about the click?
You never have to be adjusted. Gentle mobilisation, instrument-assisted adjusting and soft-tissue work are always options. Tell us what you are comfortable with and we will work within it.
Common questions
Allow 45 minutes. That covers your history, examination and, where appropriate, first treatment.
