Your first visit, step by step

A first appointment takes about 45 minutes. Here is how that time is spent.

  1. Your story first

    We talk through what hurts, when it started, what makes it better or worse, and what you want to get back to doing.

  2. A proper examination

    Posture, movement, strength, reflexes and specific orthopaedic tests, so we treat the cause we can find, not a guess.

  3. First treatment, if suitable

    If it is safe and appropriate, care starts on the day: adjustment or mobilisation, soft-tissue work and one or two exercises.

  4. A written plan

    You leave knowing what we found, what we suggest, how many visits we expect and what it will cost. No long prepaid packages.

We would rather you need us less

Good care should make you more independent, not more dependent. Every plan includes the exercises and changes that keep you moving between visits, and an end point.
