Build strength that lasts
Guided rehab and exercise sessions in our Surry Hills studio, for people recovering from back, neck or sports pain who want to stay well between visits.
Why does exercise matter for back and neck pain?
Exercise is one of the best-supported approaches for ongoing back and neck pain. Gradually loading the body can build strength, ease pain over time and lower the chance of flare-ups.
Sessions are one-on-one and built from your assessment. If you have a chronic condition, your GP may refer you under a Chronic Disease Management plan, which covers up to 5 Medicare-subsidised allied health visits a year for eligible patients.
Who is it for?
- People finishing hands-on care who want to stay well
- Ongoing back or neck pain that flares with activity
- Returning to the gym or sport after injury
- Anyone unsure which exercises are right for them
What to expect
- 01
Baseline
We measure movement, strength and the activities you find hard, so progress is easy to see.
- 02
Programme
A short programme matched to your goals, equipment and the time you actually have.
- 03
Coaching
We coach technique in the studio and adjust the load as you get stronger.
- 04
Independence
Over time sessions space out and you keep a home or gym routine you can manage on your own.
Doing your programme at home
Little and often works best. Mild muscle soreness the next day is normal. If pain lasts more than a day or two after a session, drop back a level and tell us at your next visit.
Common questions
No. Most programmes start with body weight and a resistance band. We use whatever you have at home or at your gym.
